The pricing and availability of the Acer Iconia Tab A501 has already been confirmed by AT&T. The A501 is a version of the Honeycomb tablet that supports HSPA+. Set to be priced at $330, the Tegra 2 based tablet will be available on September 18 with a two-year data agreement. But if you want to purchase the 16GB version which is contract-free, you can have it for $480. By the way, the only difference between the Acer Iconia Tab A500 and the A501 is that the first is a Wi-Fi only tablet, while the latter supports both Wi-Fi and 3G.
Since they are almost identical, the A501 will also have a 10.1-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth, HDMI connectivity, 5MP rear camera with LED flash, 2MP front-facing camera, USB 2.0, microSDHC memory card slot, and a powerful 1 GHz dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor.
The 4G in this case is not LTE, but HSPA+ unfortunately. So it means that the Acer Iconia Tab A501 tablet will operate on a slower data access speeds.
